Community Engagement

Centenary is active in ministries that allow us to love our neighbors.  Volunteer to help at Holy Grounds, the Connections Shelter, the Mankato Pride Festival, Nite Out, Centenary After Dark, and more.

Adult Discipleship

Centenary offers a variety of adult discipleship opportunities from congregation wide book studies to small group Bible studies, there are many opportunities to grow your faith through study and conversation.

Children's Faith Formation

Children are a vital part of our ministry at Centenary. From our Family Room to our Kids's Corner in the sanctuary - there are many opportunities for kids to engage in the life of the church. All children are encouraged to attend worship and then go to Kids+, a Sunday morning faith formation offered at 11:00 a.m. On Wednesday nights we offer a rich learning environment for kids to explore their faith through age appropriate classes.

Music

Centenary has a long history of wonderful music. The Grace and Power Handbells practices Wednesday nights and provides music about once a month.

Social Justice Theater

One of our cornerstone ministries is our Social Justice Theatre.  Using theatre to explore the intersection of justice and faith, we invite anyone to get involved in our theatre productions whether as an actor, a costumer, a tech member, or an audience member! Past shows have included Charlie Brown, Proof, Butterflies are Free, Shrek, It's a Wonderful Life, On Golden Pond, Godspell, Shadow Box, and The Wizard of Oz.

Youth

Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to join youth group on Wednesday nights. The youth group focuses on social justice, growing as a disciple, and asking the tough questions about faith and life. Through mission trips, lock-ins, discussions, Bible study, games and more, youth are able to explore their faith in a safe and welcoming environment.
