Our Mission Work
Christ instructs us that from those to whom much is given, much will be expected. Our mission team coordinates a program for our awareness and participation in circumstances of need.
Locally we
Serve our economically distressed neighbors through meals at the Salvation Army, through emergency assistance from our People in Need Fund, through financial counseling in cooperation with New Focus, through in-house coordination of the city-wide Santa Anonymous, the Echo Food Shelf
Offer space to Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, TOPS, Women for Sobriety, Noon Hour Prayer, a Korean start-up congregation
To the larger community we
Are in covenant with a Ukrainian missionary team Fred and Stacy Vanderwerf, with Doctors without Borders, and are exploring covenant with a Wycliffe Bible Translators team serving in Viet Nam
Commit 52 Sundays to 52 local, state and global projects for education and an offering
