How to Serve

It seems Methodists love committees, task forces, commissions, and work areas.  What ever you prefer to call a group of folks who coordinate an activity, we have many.

Not everyone is up for long-term service.  We publicize openings for three year committee assignments, as well as one-time event needs.

Right now we have these needs:

• From time to time, Habitat for Humanity needs a helping hand and Centenary is there..  This requires tool-savvy workers, and food-savvy lunch providers!  Contact Bob Peterson 387-1047.
• A clean-up crew to pick our stretch of road ditch, two miles along Highway 169 between here and St. Peter.  Call Dean Wolf 387-4074
• Our funeral ministry provides cakes and workers for lunches.  If you are willing to be on a list for short-notice contact, call Phyllis at 931-3148
• Our family ministry provides meals for families with a newborn.  If you are willing to be on a list for short-notice contact, call Jo at 387-4074.
• Sunday AM hospitality and tech support.

·                 Greeters at North and South entrances: call Bev at 388-5346

• Audio and projection support: call Joe at 387-4074

Weekly routine jobs for just that right person:

• Anytime weekly: prepare the worship area for worship – sharpen pencils, replace envelopes, straighten Hymnals, etc.
• Wednesday mornings: fold and stuff Centenarians
