Our community life is centered in Sunday Morning Worship.
Our congregations's primary Bible study takes place at worship with our pastors teaching as well as preaching. Bible stories and memory verses are a central part of each Children's Sermon.
Greater themes of justice, earth stewardship, discipleship, and faithfulness find expression from Lectionary or chosen texts each week.
United Methodist Men meet each Friday morning to explore scripture and the relationship of biblical teaching to our everyday lives. Expect a lively discussion with numerous and differing viewpoints.
Adult Sunday School meets at 8:00AM Sunday mornings led by the pastors. Open to all, discussion generally follows a selected theme relating to Bible teaching and interpretation.
Young Adult Sunday School meets at 9:30AM on Sundays. Contemporary topics dominate the discussion as discussion relates the Bible to issues of social justice. It's also a great opportunity for young adults to connect with one another.
Children's Christian Education wouldn't be complete without an active Sunday School program. Expect the stories to be told and the characters of the Bible brought to life in this ever changing curriculum.
It's been in place for years. On Thursday mornings at 8:30AM, Centenary women have the opportunity to join together for Women's Bible Study. The topics vary from an examination of the Jesus Seminar to a study of Methodist Principles.
Led by Pastor Pam, the Feminist Theology Group meets the third and fourth Thursday evenings of each month. It's religious study from a different perspective.
