Rev. Amy Jo Bur serves as the Planter Pastor of Centenary United Methodist Church., facilitating Centenary's mission to begin a new congregation in the St. Peter, Minnesota area. 

Amy Jo earned a B.A. in Literature with a minor in music from Eastern Michigan University and a M. Div. with a Certificate in Black Church Studies from Chandler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  She has recently participated in continuing education in the area of beginning new churches, including: Great Challenge Leadership Academy, Church Planters' Boot Camp, and the 2007 School of Congregational Development.
